So, my new Church calling is Scout Master.
I have a rowdy bunch of 12 year old boys...who I love very much.
For our very first adventure together, we hiked Mt. Timpanogos on Labor Day.
It was amazing! So beautiful.
Ambitious too.
Timpooneke to Aspen Grove is over 20 miles.
But everyone made it! Check out these stats:
Remember the above is only half the hike...we had to get down too.
We also saw three bears (no Goldilocks though),
moose, and sheep (aka polar bears).
And lots of other Labor Day hikers.
