Deer Camp 2011

Here is the Saturday expedition group

to the Hermits House in the 3rd Hole.

We found the Hermit's House

and cooked a lunch of

grilled-cheese sandwiches and sardines

in his antique smoker/oven.

Next was some good old "bolder rollin".

Uncle Vance showed the boys how it's done.

Some kind of tracks we found right at 10,000 ft. MSL

Blue Grouse? Eagle? Big Bird?

Finally, we left our mark by leaving a note in the box

at Lightening Peak.
And we read some tender messages

written by other trekkers from years before.
